The long awaited visit to Jamie’s Italian SA was worth the wait!

It was a Thursday night on one of Jozi’s trendiest venues, Melrose Arch the new home of Jamie’s ltalian SA, we where invited as part of the media team, to experience a culinary taste sensation.

We sipped on some bubbly as the evening began, we where fortunate to have Chef Shane take us through the menu and some history on the brand.

Above was a winner! A brushesta topped with cream cheese, cherry tomato and fresh basil.

Jamie’s Italian SA has a variety of foods that cater for all palates, for meat lovers and vegetarians.

The highlight of the evening, is knowing that there pasta is made fresh on a daily basis, this was like music to my ears, well I think all pasta lovers would agree.

I ordered the prawn linguine, it was even better than the description on the menu! A definite must try for any prawn lover!

Jamie’s Italian SA is great for special birthday occasions, meetings and catchups, it’s not a venue for a romantic dinner, as it’s too busy and gets rather crowed.

The pizzas where light and delicious! The flour is imported from Italy.

Sadly we didn’t get to try the desserts so it’s a great excuse to return!

Be sure to make your booking at Jamie’s Italian SA, I would love to know what you think.  Feel free to share your comments.

A big Thank you to Prelene for the media invitation!
