It’s the month of love and I have been feeling inspired to create more meals to nourish my body, as well as balancing mind body and spirit, recipe below as well as how I balance all these areas.


  • 4 Tablespoons of raw oats
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 small banana
  • Handful of frozen blueberries
  • Drizzle of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon powder

Bring your water to a boil, add your oats and cook for 5-8 minutes, place in a bowl, top with chopped banana, drizzle a dash of honey or maple syrup, top with cinnamon powder and blueberries.

You can add a variety of fruits and customize it as required.

Spending time in nature and walking 4 times a week has me feeling recharged and refreshed physically, going back to my yoga practice has definitely helped physically too.

Mindset shifts are not always easy, with the love and support of those around us we can do it, a bit of motivation is all it takes, the will to be happy and experience joy more often through the day.

Mentally it’s been challenging as I can be a over thinker, it can leave one stuck and procrastination sets in, working on redirecting my energy towards longer meditation practice daily as well as weekly nature photography has given me a sense of letting go and living in the moment, creating artwork is a great way to focus on creativity allowing ideas to flow easily.

Journaling is an effective way to release emotions through writing them out and letting it go.

Keep your energy up and take care of yourself, in mind, body & spirit, remember balance is important.
